A year ago today!

I looked sad Mumma!
It is really me isn't Mumma!
No I won't look at the camera!
Why did you stick it there!
I really don't feel too good!
When is dinner?

Hi Guys
12 months ago we managed to see our beautiful child's face for the first time!
It is amazing to think that the wait has extended even longer! And that we have nearly had them in our arms for 10 months!
Alice has certainly blossomed and is everyday. She hasn't been the easiest child and it has taken it's time to get into a natural rhythm with her. She certainly has added a new dimension to our family!
For this we will always be grateful to CCAA and China for allowing us to be her parents!
It is amazing to think that she has been anywhere else than with us and is such a fantastic fit for our family!
We have been blessed beyond belief with 3 amazing children and their extended families! Our travel groups and with Aiden his birth family!
It is amazing to think about all the organising of travel arrangements and getting ready for her!
Her room has never been painted and changed! I am sure she is happy with the way it is at the moment!
Alice has gotten much better at sleeping and finally she is being talkative! I am sure it is only a matter of time that she gives Aiden and Emily a run for there money!
She is generally a happy girl who loves her own space and has become a peace maker at daycare! She enjoys going there each day and has her favourite playmates!
She loves to dance and so enjoys the wiggles and hi- 5! She also loves anything Chinese and eats congee still for breakfast most mornings!
I can not say enough about how she has fitted into our family and still has that edge of expecting her life to change again! She is a deep and pensive soul who often sits and watches her world and when she is safe she is up participating full on!
The best part of the day is when I collect her from Daycare and she beams me her smile and runs into my arms! Also as she goes off to bed she says Zai jian and Wo ai ni Mumma! Wo ai ni Dadda!Melts our hearts!

Of course the way Aiden and Emily interact with her is such a blessing too! They certainly have a special relationship!
We celebrated with friends and had a quiet dinner at home! We have more friends tomorrow for dinner and then next week we are heading to the city where 3 of our travel buddies are!

wo men ai ni Ruth, Keith, Aiden, Emily and Alice!
