The Circus

We all went to the Webber brothers Circus yesterday and we were very concerned Emily would freak at the witch but instead she was amazed by the Chinese Artists when they were swung from the fabric as in the pictures or when the young girl stacked up 7 chairs! And performed her act high in the sky! Or maybe the biggest thrill was, watching the rest of the family enjoy it! The gasps and jaw dropping moments were priceless!
It was an amazing day watching a little girl enjoy all the sights her head could hold!
Hope your weekends are as amazing! Just to end ours.....
friends of ours had a baby after 2 adoptions and a permancy placement, life has many blessings! And Sophie is safe and well!
Babies are cute! Well done H&C!

A New Car

Well we spent a good portion of today and Months leading up to it! We are the proud owners to be of a Kia Rio a 1600cc brand new car!
Our first in 25 years! Keith in our dating years as a teenager bought 2 new cars and then as we got engaged and started all the preparation for a family! (which we are still waiting to complete!)We now have to wait about a week and we will have a cool green metallic Kia Rio to carry the kids around town and also for those out of town trips! So my work will have access to this car! Lucky them!

Aiden was amazed that we had gone out a bought a car! Well technically! We will hopefully have it a 1/3, 1/3 and 1/3 so that in 2 years we have paid for it! without interest! Yeah and hopefully we can keep the money in the account!

Well Easter bunny is arriving here shortly so have to sort ourselves out for an early night!
Take care and enjoy spending time with your families!

Chinese Language School!

Emily and Aiden went to Chinese language school today for the first time! Technically you are meant to be 5 but we thought we would ask since Zara and Norah have started now would be a good time to start and Emily is so keen to start school so this has been great! Both the children enjoyed it was great to hear Aiden tell us how proud of Emily he was when she tried to do the work!
So one day down and maybe they will be able to understand some more language before we all go to China!
Referrals are in Australia so it looks like we have another month to wait!
That is all good, It will be lovely and warm in China when we travel! Looked at Hong Kong Disney this week and are starting to think about travel options prior to China and receiving Alice!
Well Aiden is off to soccer registration! It is always busy here!

Matching has happened and rumours abound!

This is a photo of the matching room where we would have been matched with Emily and now waiting to hear that we have been matched with Alice! Is it this month! With no LID date we are very much up in the air all those who are on this roller coaster ride waiting for news of our beautiful children! Around 8 families are currently waiting in NZ! So is it going to happen in the next week or so or will we have to wait another month!
Life has been very hectic here with me being sick this last week! A very nasty chest infection!
I have some great photos and will post them of Emily and her mates at the Papamoa gathering! Emily was one of around 30 children adopted from China who gathered to celebrate this most amazing way to create a family!
It was an amazing weekend!
Well as Emily and Aiden bicker about who said what to whom? I sit here and wonder why are we doing this again! That is right Alice has grown in our hearts for almost 3.5 years! So hang on breathe and lets hope the ride is fast and exciting!
