14 Years ago today

Aiden joined our family officially by order of the Judge. We had custody and guardianship. Here is one of our earliest photos of the children.
It would be another 16 months before he became legally adopted.

Life has taken many turns and twists since the 3 October 1995. Low and behold we never thought that 14 years on we would be a family of 5 and have the best big brother in the world!

We are extremely proud of Aiden each and everyday and he develops more and more into a fine young man!

And we are always reminded that he is still our goofy little boy and always will be!

Happy Forever Family day to us all!

Little did we know after the frenzy of buying everything and having only 3 hours to do so before he came home did we think the tired boy to bed that he would wake 10 times during that first night!

I was back at work the next day and Keith was off work sick for the rest of the week with the flu!

The pacing in the hall way at court, the packets of toffee pops( type of Chocolate covered cookie) that we had bought for the Birth mother as we knew she wouldn't cope at court all day with little or now food and Toffee Pops were her favourites!

Or the Whirlwind before picking Aiden up at 4:30!

We celebrated with the Birth family and our family this precious wee man joining our family!

Also Keith had to head out to buy formula and bottles for Aiden! We had none!

We had two sets of clothes and a list of what to buy and where to buy it!

So hopefully you have had a glimpse into the mad whirlwind that was the 3rd of October 1995 when Aiden became a Kelsall in name and we became a real family! One which society could accept!

Well off to bed as a whirlwind of Aiden's favourite dinner Roast Lamb and vegetables.

Then Toffee Pops to be consumed after dinner. We thought of you Toni!
