A day in our life.

Well almost a year ago we got one of our greatest gifts!
Yes it is almost a year ago our family grew overnight by one.
We had waited for this moment for over 3 years (and the wait is getting longer!). It amazes me as Miss Alice sneaks out of her bed and fall asleep along side Emily that this quiet little shy girl has bloomed and continues to bloom!
She loves life to the full and is a cruisy girl who will happily go with the flow.
She loves books and can parrot all my swear words! I am truly proud!
I am proud that I was chosen to be her Mumma. She has certainly tested my every ounce of strength and love. There were days when I loved her but didn't like her that much until she beamed me that smile and as each growl, hug, kiss, lack of sleep, kiss, cuddle and Wo ai ne she has relaxed.

And each day I am amazed that she is happy, settled and loves us and her siblings these are things we have never taken for granted. We are amazed at her attachment and how at daycare until she is happy to do she stands firm with the staff and when she is ready she will take off her jacket or be handed over.
She is such a sweetie pie with a side that has had to protect her and that side is dark. As the minutes slipped into hours, Hours to days and days to weeks and weeks into months we have seen such amazing growth.

And when I tuck her into bed and smooch her it is wonderful. It is our pleasure to be her parents and it it amazes each and everyday when looking at all our children how they fit into our family and they love each other so much!

I know we have been so blessed and we are thankful everyday!
