A Lot can happen in a month!
And it has!
Firstly I have been back at work for 4 weeks almost and that has taken up time trying to juggle Alice, Emily, Aiden and work!
Slowly I am getting into a routine and am often up at 5 am to work or read through notes etc! So sleep is an ongoing issue in our house!
Aiden a couple of weekends back went to an open audition for the High School Musical stage show and got a call back! we waited a long week last week to hear whether or not he was in and sure enough he has a part what part we aren't sure about but probably not the lead! At 13.5 that is great! He now has 3 weeks of at least 46 hours rehearsals over our summer so he won't have a holiday holiday! Yet the most amazing experience a teenager could ask for!
The shows are from 29 Jan through to 7 Feb so he will return to year 10 a tired young Man!
Before that Emily had surgery for her other eye and we left Miss Alice for the first time since we were handed her on 15 June so that left her mark and then again this last Friday both times I couldn't wait to hold her in my arms!
She so hates being away from us as long as Keith or I am here it is fine!
Well Emily continues to do well at school and has less than 4 weeks left! So once she is off it will be all go!
Other highlights
Aiden has been tramping this week!
The warm temperatures in the 20's everyday! Yum!
The glasshouse growing even when neglected!
Alice's smiles and cheekiness!
Emily reading and we will have to book swimming lessons over the summer!
Keith who works such long hours!
So I will post some photos and then catch up with more blogging when I get a break!
